Once in an royal era, along comes a truly noble story that is charming and majestic, while embracing timeless
values through a deeper message.
An honorable and worthy message about believing in yourself, the acceptance of others, and the grace of
kindness. This is that story.
Princess Petra’s unusual birthday request to become a royal knight sends the royal court into a frenzy. But when
she agrees to undertake a knight’s quest, not even the royal rule book, with its list of outrageous knight deeds,
can dissuade her.
Armed with a cake knife and a suit of the best royal pots and pans, Petra chooses to hush the howling dragon,
Snarls, in the Forest of Doom and win her real armour. Will Petra’s kindness and acceptance of others prove to be
more valuable than weapons and armour?
Petra Longstride is an honorable and charismatic main character who will enchant the reader and lead them on a
wonderful, delightfully funny adventure.
SIR PRINCESS PETRA'S TALENT
Sir Princess Petra has already proven she is a kind and noble knight. This, however, does not please the king and
queen---they want her to behave like a princess and forget this
silly knight nonsense of hers!
But when the king writes a new rule in the royal rule book that requires her to attend Talent School and acquire a
princess talent certificate or suffer the spell of the royal magician, Petra, reluctantly, agrees to go. But who
could have guessed what Sir Princess Petra’s Talent would be?
SIR PRINCESS PETRA'S MISSION (forthcoming)
Sir Princess Petra has already attained her Knighthood in the Kingdom of Pen Pieyu and now has a Writing
Certificate from Talent School, neither of which pleases her father, the king.
The king writes up more silly rules in the royal rule book to deter Sir Princess Petra from her knightly ways and
tries to turn her into a real princess once and for all. Will the king finally succeed with this newly written,
ridiculous mission for Petra?

"What a wonderful story. You don’t get many books that can teach qualities such as respect, friendship, and
trust. This book does that simply by showing through a lovely story. The author has a great gift at story
telling.” - Ian S. Rutter, Author, The Faeries of Birchover Wood
Amazingly Fresh - Charmingly Funny
Diane knows that young children learn best when engaged fully with a story. 'Sir Princess
Petra' is filled with surprising plot twists, unexpected obstacles and unusual problems, all wrapped
around a tightly written core of cutting edge originality and brilliant bursts of humor.
The storyline is charming and entrancing, while the characters are as quirky as they are charismatic. It is a
timeless story featuring a spunky heroine that children will love, look up to and admire.
“Petra shows the reader that we don’t have to fight someone in order to win. Given the fact that Petra comes across
some interestingly strange characters, she show the reader how to respect and appreciate an individual’s
uniqueness. Together, they start a whole new wave of acceptance in her father’s kingdom. Children will love this
unique 68 page chapter book and will be anxiously awaiting the other books in The Pen Pieyu Adventures
Series.” - Renee Hand, Multi-Award Winning & Amazon Best Selling Author, The Crypto-Capers and
Joe-Joe Nut Series
